Calendar

The Lierunese calendar is a calendar shared in much of the world, as they had a significant influence through their worship of the Ancient Ones. Each month is named for one of these deities, the more popular ones. They correspond to our own as such:

  • January – Nuranary (Nur-un-airy)
  • February – Drustiary (Drew-stee-airy)
  • March – Phanious (Fan-ee-us)
  • April – Dezmious (Dez-me-us)
  • May – Cihrenary (S-ear-en-airy)
  • June – Cobinous (Coh-bin-us)
  • July – Vinious (Vin-ee-us)
  • August – Utonus (Yoo-ton-us)
  • September – Nadelious (Nuh-del-ee-us)
  • October – Vydous (Vye-dus)
  • November – Azenary (Aa-zen-airy)
  • December – Tydosary (Tye-dus-airy)

As with our calendar, there are seven days. Each is named for one of the Ancient Ones, six are for each deity that corresponds with one of the six elemental magic types and the seventh for the deity of emptiness from which all life sprang forth. They are as such:

  • Sunday – Nynoday (Nye-no-day)
  • Monday – Lisuday (Lihs-uh-day)
  • Tuesday – Sydroday (Sye-droh-day)
  • Wednesday – Eraday (Ehr-uh-day)
  • Thursday – Letteday (Let-uh-day)
  • Friday – Wodaday (Woh-duh-day)
  • Saturday – Yneday (Ee-nuh-day)
